Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies also known as TIAS is a private college affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and located in Pitam Pura, Delhi. TIAS is recognized under section 2 by UGC. Admission to TIAS is through the Common Entrance Test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

1. Eco Club
Institute’s Eco Clubs play an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation. It’s a platform on which one gets knowledge about the environment. It’s a group that works to contribute to improving environmental conditions.
2. Cultural Club
The Cultural Club of Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies aims at helping the students to understand and accept themselves ‘as they are’ and helps the students to help themselves. The main objective of the club is to bring about a voluntary change in the students.
3. Abhivyakti Club
It has elements of anchoring & reporting through which students will get a platform to enrich their communication skills with which he will be able to fight his stage fears.
4. Press and Media Club
Press and Media Club students are supposed to engage with the media activities and to help students to perform the activities which would help them to increase their understanding of Mass Media. Mass Media as we know includes a variety of vehicles like newspapers, magazines, New media, etc. which are used to communicate with the masses.
5. Photography Club
Tecnia Photography Club is a club of budding photographers sharing their passion for photography, videography, reporting, quick decision making in the respective field, etc. The club organizes at least 2 events per year. The aim of the club is to promote and develop the practice of photography.
6. Rangmanch Club
Theatre Club is a student body that is responsible for all the cultural events in the Institute around the year. It comprises of various sections which take care of the various fields of cultural events.
7. IT Club
Information Technology (IT), An Integral part of our daily life, is an ocean by itself. The IT club helps students to make use of IT in a positive way and to enhance their knowledge of modern technology. The IT club helps the students feel the essence of information technology in management and the importance of IT in modern-day management.
8. Literary Club
“VYAKT” the Literary Club of TIAS peruses the motto “Beyond the pages………into the new Horizon”, wherein one can hone the writing skills and boost their literary knowledge and creativity. It nurtures deeply evolved emotions, passions and experiences and art to express in words.

Facilities| TIAS
1. Library
The TECNIA Library is centrally air-conditioned and housed in a quiet and serene setting which makes it an ideal place for academic pursuits. The library is well-furnished to accommodate students of IT, Management, and Journalism. It has meticulously selected stock of books covering all possible aspects of interests in the field of Management, Computer Science, Journalism, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Economics, Business Strategies, Operations Management, Information Technology, and Mass Communication.
2. Canteen
The Institute has provided a full-fledge canteen for the benefits of the students wherein all sorts of snacks, beverages, tea, coffee, and even lunch provided at a very nominal rate. The kitchen of the cafeteria is hygienically inspected almost every week and the foodstuff provided by the cafeteria is tested by the Faculty member In-charge of the cafeteria.
3. Sports
Students are encouraged to play both outdoor and indoor games after their classes and during weekends, inter-institute and intra-institute tournaments on various games are held as per the schedule planned in the calendar of activities.
4. Auditorium
The Institute has well equipped two centrally air-conditioned Auditorium with the latest Audio Visual & Projection facility. The state-of-the-Art auditorium has a seating facility of over 350 persons fitted with a comfortable seating arrangement and carpeted floor. The auditorium provides a great opportunity to conduct seminars, Conferences, Corporate Meet, Media Fest, National / International conferences, Convocation, etc.
5. Bank
The State Bank of India branch & ATM facility is available in the institute campus to give the students and staff of the institute as well as the general public, money management facility.
Placements| TIAS
The Placement Cell at Tecnia ensures that the maximum number of students get campus placement & the deserving candidates can get a decent platform to start their career. The T&P cell also ensures that the placements are of the right quality. The T&P cell aims to provide placement assistance to 100% of students. The cell also ensures that the students are properly groomed and properly instructed for improved performance during interviews. To ensure proper grooming, the members of the cell regularly contact faculty members, corporate trainers involved in personality development, and give them faculty members, trainers necessary feed-back received from different organizations for taking necessary corrective actions.
