Indian Institute of Management recently released the IIM CAT exam date for 2020. The exam is supposed to be held on November 29, 2020.

The applications will open from August 5, 2020 and will continue till September 16, 2020. Admit Cards will be released one month before the exam i.e. on October 29, 2020. The exam results will likely be announced in January 2021.

Aspiring students must know that the exam will be conducted in two sessions i.e. a morning and an evening session. The exam will be computer based.
What is IIM CAT ?
IIM CAT exam or the Common Admission Test is a computer-based MBA entrance test for admissions into the IIMs and several other prestigious B-Schools in the country. CAT exam is conducted every year by the IIMs on a rotational basis. About 2 lakh students participate in the Cat exam every year.
This year the exam will be conducted by IIM Indore.

The application fees for General category students is Rs 2000/- . Whereas. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD category will have to pay Rs 1000/- as application fees.
This year the exam will be conducted in test centres in as many as 156 cities throughout the country. Candidates will be asked to choose any 4 city preferences, and will be assigned their test centre accordingly.
Eligibility
A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of at least 50% marks or equivalent. The reserve category candidates i.e. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) — must have a minimum of 45 per cent marks from a recognized university.
