He is the main character of the show. At the beginning of the show, he is shown as a rich spoiled brat and kind of a Casanova. He lost his mother at a very young age, and his father is a cruel and selfish man. Still, he managed to turn his life upside down and turned into a responsible, humble, and very successful man. He is a fighter, he had a lot of ups and downs during his life but he never gave up. Even becoming a better human was tougher on him than usual, but he came above all that. He has an impeccable style and a huge fan following. The way his growth is shown in the show is spectacular and so real. And the way he loved Blair.
BLAIR WALDORF, QUEEN B
One can be sharp. One can be the most fashionable person in the world. One can be ambitious. One can be loyal. One might know their real self-worth. One can be someone with all these combined and still never be Blair Waldorf. Blair Waldorf is a role model to me and many girls of our age, she has a legend of her own. She taught me many things during the show. she taught me to never give up and that sometimes you have to be ruthless and keep on fighting till you get what you want, put yourself first, and focus on what you want from life before love or anything else. never put your faith in someone’s else hands. You should know your self-worth and make sure other people know too. Be the best version of yourself and be powerful. ‘I am not a stop along the way, I am a destination’. – Blair Waldorf
SERENA VANDERWOODSEN, THE IT GIRL
She is considered more to be a traditional heroine. The girl who has it all, she is a character that appears to easily get whatever she wants because of her good looks, energy, and charisma. She is selfless and kind and a great friend. Often too trusting which is never good. The best thing about her is she is fashionable at her best. Serena’s style has earned noteworthy praise. Her friendship with Blair is seen as very iconic. They were best friends since they were kids and had many problems during their friendship but still remain together, never left each other’s back no matter where their own world went. They are totally best friend’s goals.

NATHANIEL ARCHIBALD, THE GENUINE ONE
Nate is a very warm and trusting person. He is kind and caring, especially to his closest friends. He is charming, laidback, funny, and friendly, and it has always been in his nature to look out for people. He is also known for having a moral compass compared to all the other core characters in the show, especially shown when is the only main character to never send a tip to Gossip Girl. It has always been in Nate’s nature to try and please everyone especially in his family, but he later realizes the wrong in trying to make everyone happy while he himself is not. He is also not as interested in all the wealth and elitist ways of the Upper East Side world. He is not comfortable with the privileges that his family’s money and status give him because he thinks he does not deserve them and that they only control him. Nate is also honest and is known for being a horrible liar.
DANIEL HUMPHREY, THE OUTSIDER
He is also the main protagonist of the series. He is referred to as a ‘lonely boy’ in the beginning. He is very knowledgeable and kind. but he is also very judgmental, he makes assumptions about people and is rigid on it. Like others, He was not born with these privileges but he wrote himself into it. the ultimate outsider became the insider . ‘you are no one until you are talked about’. – Dan Humphrey.
