GGSIPU Yoga Courses List
Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) offers a Bachelor’s of Sciences in Yoga (B.Sc in Yoga), Masters of Sciences in Yoga (M.Sc in Yoga), and Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy for Medicos and Paramedics (PGDYTMP).
B.Sc in Yoga is a full-time regular course of 3 years duration, comprising 6 semesters with an intake capacity of 30 students.
The duration of M.Sc in yoga is of 2 years (4semesters) with an intake capacity of only 15 students.
Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga(PGDYTMP) is a course of 1 year (2 semesters) while intaking 20 students every year.
Some Other Part-time courses available in MDNIY:
Foundation Course in Yoga Science for Wellness (FCYScW): The duration of this course is 1 month with 30 seats available. Students with a 10th pass or its equivalent are eligible for this course.
Certificate Course in Yoga for Wellness Instructor (CCYWI): A course of 6 months with an intake capacity of 30 students. The candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized
board or its equivalent for this course.
Diploma in Yoga Science (D.Y.Sc.): The course is of 1 year (2 semesters) duration with around 100 seats available. Candidate possessing a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% of marks is eligible for admission.
GGSIPU Yoga Course| Eligibility
For admission to B.Sc (Yoga), the applicant should have a pass in 12th class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent in any science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in best of 4 subjects. Applicant should be more than 21 years of age.
For admission to M.SC (Yoga), the applicant should be a B.Sc (Yoga) Graduate with 50% marks from a recognized University or Institute of National repute or hold a Science/Medical/Paramedical/Physiotherapy Graduation level degree with 50% marks and one-year Diploma in Yoga Science.
PG Diploma in Yoga Therapy for Medical and Paramedical Graduates: Applicant should hold a Medical / Para-Medical / Physiotherapy (minimum 4 years or more) Graduate Degree with 50% marks from a recognized University or Institution approved by the regulatory body
GGSIPU Yoga Courses| Admissions
GGSIPU conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for Admissions in B.Sc(Yoga) and M.Sc(Yoga).
Admission to PGDYTMP will be based on merit prepared on the percentage of aggregate marks of the qualifying degree.
