GGSIPU MBA: 6 Things to Know About GGSIPU’s MBA 2021

1.Programmes on offer in GGSIPU for MBA.

IPU offers an MBA programme across five specializations listed below, with a duration of two years.

3. Financial Management

2. Eligibility criteria

GGSIPU Eligibility criteria for MBA/MBA (IB) and MBA Financial Management programmes are the same while the MBA (Financial Analysis) eligibility criteria are different:

Eligibility Criteria for MBA (General)/MBA (International Business) and MBA (Financial Management)

• A Bachelor’s degree of 3 or more years duration from a recognized university in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.

OR

• Passed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology or any other subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate

OR

• Passed final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England/ The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England/ The Institute of Company Secretaries of India

GGSIPU Eligibility Criteria for MBA (Financial Analysis)

• Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks
• Must have studied at least one of the fours courses at graduation level out of Mathematics/ Statistics/Economics/Operations Research

Eligibility Criteria for MBA in Information Technology(IT)

• BE/ BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate

OR

• MSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics) with a minimum of 60% aggregate

OR

• MCA with a minimum of 60% aggregate

3. CAT or IPU CET

GGSIPU doesn’t conduct its own entrance exam for IPU MBA admission 2021, except for MBA in IT. For admission to MBA in IT, IPU CET is conducted.

For remaining specialization, admissions are based on the applicant’s CAT score.

However,  if the seats remain vacant after counseling on the basis of CAT score, then counseling is conducted on the basis of CMAT score. In case there are still remaining vacant seats, GGSIPU conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admissions.

4. Colleges On Offer in GGSIPU for MBA.

MBA is available in GGSIPU main campus and more than 10 affiliated GGSIPU colleges. The intake of students in each college mostly varies from 60-120 every year.

5. Last Date To Apply.

According to the notice issued by GGSIPU, candidates who have qualified CAT-2020 and wish to seek admission in GGSIPU and its Affiliated colleges/institutes in programme MBA for Academic Session 2021-22 have to submit the online application form.

The submission of the online application form started on 06.04.2021, and the last date of submission is 30.05.2021.

6. Age Limit

For all post-graduate courses of GGSIPU including MBA, candidates’ age should be less than 35 years as of 1st August 2021. The Minimum Age limit is 21 years for MBA 1st August 2021.
