Student Concerns | Final Year Datesheet
As per the guidelines issued by UGC, universities were given the option of conducting the final year exams in online, offline, or mixed mode, depending on the resources that the university and the students possess during the pandemic. With increasing number of coronavirus cases, students weren’t expecting the examination to be held in an offline mode. Many students are currently outside Delhi. Booking train or flight tickets on short notice might be tough. Moreover, traveling amid the COVID pandemic can pose risk to the lives of students.

A survey conducted by IPU Buzz, in May reveals that over 91.9% of students are against exams being conducted, out of which 24.6% of students cite being out of Delhi as their reason.
Since the release of the notice regarding the offline exams, the students have been criticising the decision on Twitter. The outburst can be seen in the form of innumerable tweets with hashtags #IPUExams and #GGSIPU.
