Introduction
Established in 1948, and present in over 125 countries, AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. It is a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership and management. AIESEC is now recruiting.
AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national/social origin. Since its foundation, it has engaged and developed over 1,000,000 young people who have been through an AIESEC experience. The impact of the organisation can be seen through its alumni who represent the business, NGOs and world leaders.

Opportunities
Students can either opt to go for cross-cultural exchanges or get into a membership role at any of the local offices of AIESEC present in the country.
Cross-cultural exchanges
AIESEC provides an opportunity for young people to work or volunteer abroad in unfamiliar environments. This allows them to step outside their comfort zone and expand their worldview while contributing to the community in which they are working.
Membership roles
Our members work in teams to create and manage these cross-cultural exchange experiences. This provides an opportunity for our members to live powerful team experiences and develop their own leadership potential.
AIESEC in Delhi IIT
Over 27 local offices (called Local Committees, or simply LCs) are present across India, with AIESEC in Delhi IIT being the oldest LC in the country, having been established in 1981. Recruitments for membership roles are held twice a year, once in February, and then in August.
Note: AIESEC in Delhi IIT is an independent entity, and is not associated in any form with IIT Delhi. Students from colleges all across Delhi-NCR are free to apply. The current recruitment process is only for membership roles. For cross-cultural exchanges, interested students can register via the website.
