A new day a new problem or a new issue, after conducting the offline examinations for final year students, the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University came up with a decision to take the previous semester (even semester) exams of Law (BA LLB and BBA LLB) programs from the 27th October.
As of now, we all are aware that the new semester had commenced in mid-August, the syllabus is moving forward and now internals are coming close… rather next week *oof*
Irrespective of the fact that the new semester has commenced, what is the point of conducting examination for the previous semester in the first place? It really doesn’t make sense!!
Even if students are ready to give them, firstly how are they going to manage their schedule for studying for the previous semester’s exams as well as the current semester’s internals? Secondly, is it really feasible to conduct exams during this pandemic? Just because exams for Final Year students was held via offline, now they want more students to come and do the same? How is this okay in the first place?

Let’s not be selfish here, as much as the students are in danger the faculty is in the same zone. Even the faculty of various colleges are being put to risk in order to conduct offline exams for the students by coming to college and checking papers in bulk!
Travelling is still not safe, a lot of students are still in their home towns away from colleges, people come from various parts of Delhi even though functioning of metro has started, the question is “is it safe?”
All this could’ve been easier if they would’ve been held via online method, the offline method is certainly not feasible for a lot of students.
Another thing is, why only Law students have to appear for the previous semester’s exams? Every law student at this moment has the question “why don’t the students of other courses have to appear for the exams?”
How fair is it in the first place? Students are expected to give exams in such a short span and they are all distressed and worried! They’re students, not a multi-tasking robot!!
