Starting a web series nowadays can be a big commitment for a lot of us. However, that’s not the case with miniseries. Because one can binge-watch miniseries and complete them in just a day and doesn’t have to wait for another year for the next season. A miniseries has a single season or a couple of very short seasons, and the story ends after those few episodes. Here are 5 miniseries that you once start watching, you just can’t quit.
1. Sharp Objects
Based on Gillian Flynn’s 2006 debut novel of the same name, this psychological thriller will keep you hooked. Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, this show is fascinating from the start.

Why you should watch it: Who doesn’t love a good, addictive and mind-blowing crime series? Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson did a spectacular job in portraying the characters.

3. Chernobyl
This Emmy Award-winning show warrants a deep dive into history. Based on the true events of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster of April 1986 which occurred in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union

4. Band of brothers
Based on historian Stephen E. Ambrose’s 1992 non-fiction book of the same name, this war drama miniseries won Emmy and Golden Globe awards in 2001 for best miniseries. This series is one of the best on WW2.
Why you should watch it: When two big names (Steven Speilberg and Tom Hanks) get involved, we can imagine the quality. A-List actors like Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Simon Pegg, Dexter Fletcher are in the cast. if you like WAR movies, you will definitely like this show.

5. Watchmen
This one is for all the DC fans. Created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Watchmen is an American superhero drama television series that continues the 1986 DC Comics series Watchmen. This show received 26 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, the most for any show in the 2019 television season.
Why you should watch it: This show is incredibly well acted, produced, and written. It is engaging and enthralling and the superhero cast is straight-up awesome. If you like crime/investigative shows with a little mysterious edge to it, you’ll LOVE this show.
