The Management Quota Admission system which is offered by most of the self-financing (private) institutes and colleges affiliated to the State University of Delhi, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) which is also known as IP University and IPU. Every private college has some reserved seats or left out seats after all counseling rounds on which they offer admission under the Management Quota. What Is Management Quota?

Most of the private colleges affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) have a certain percentage of seats reserved as Management Quota. The seats are in the hands of the college management and hence named after management Quota.

How To Take Admission Or Apply For The Admission Under Management Quota?

Management Quota is like a lifesaver and an opportunity to take admission in IP University especially for those students were unable to get admission through the normal counseling process or have not secured good CET rank in the Common Entrance Test or National Eligibility Test (JEE, NEET, NIMCET, CAT, and CLAT-UGC). Those who wish to take admission under this quota can directly approach the college and ask them about the admission process and can also discuss the necessary things as admission fees and annual fees etc. before taking the admission.

Who Are Eligible For Taking Admission In This Quota?

All the students, including the students from the National Capital Region of Delhi and Outside Delhi and who have given the Common Entrance Test (CET) or National Eligibility Test (JEE, NEET, NIMCET, CAT, and CLAT-UGC) are eligible for taking admission under this quota no matter what rank they have secured. Under Management Quota your rank is not considered, but it is mandatory to have CET rank or National Eligibility Test (JEE, NEET, NIMCET, CAT, and CLAT-UGC) rank.

Can One Take Admission Under Management Quota Even If One Has Not Given The Common Entrance Test (CET) Or National Eligibility Test (JEE, NEET, NIMCET, CAT, and CLAT-UGC)?

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has very strict norms about the admission process. No college can give you admission under the Management Quota if you have not given and passed the Common Entrance Test. If in case any college offers you admission under the Management quota will be considered as illegal and unfair means of taking admission, and you will be liable for the punishment.


Does The Main Campus Of IP University Offer This Quota?

There are many study centers managed and owned by IP University, known as the University Schools. No, there is no provision of Management Quota on the main campus of the IP University. It is only limited up to the private, i.e. the self-financing colleges that are affiliated to GGS IP University.

What Is The Difference Between The Admissions Offered Under Management Quota And Through The Regular Admission Process?

Most students and parents are confused about the concept of “Management Quota” where there is hardly, or you can say no difference in the admission taken through the regular counseling process and the management quota. The only difference between the Management Quota and the regular admission process is the fees! The fee for the management quota will be a bit higher as compared to the admission taken through the normal admission process. The fee may vary from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 20,000 (annually). About the details on the fee, you can directly contact the college to which you want to take admission.


What Are The Fees Of This Quota?

There is a minor difference in the fees for the management quota, but no one can tell you the actual amount of the fee for the Management Quota except the college in which you want to take admission. The fees vary from college to college and subject to subject. Therefore the best way to find the fee is to contact the college directly.

Is Management Quota Like Giving A Donation And Taking Admission?

No! There is no concept of donation at IP University for taking admission; rather it is a punishable offense and will be considered as the unfair means of taking admission. You may also the charges of corruption and bribe.
